Local Chapter of ISCEBS Hosts Event
CREATIVE RETIREMENT SOLUTIONS AND FEE DISCLOSURE
for RETIREMENT PLANS
Lancaster, PA - March, 2011 – The Central PA Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists will host a 2-part session focused on retirement plans.
The featured speaker will be John R. Markley from Markley Actuarial Services, Inc. The session will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011.
“In the retirement plan industry many fees have been hidden.” states John Markley, President & Owner of Markley Actuarial Services. “Because of new legislation, plan sponsors and participants are now going to get a lot more information about the expenses of their plan.”
Mr. Markley founded Markley Actuarial Services, Inc. in 1985 and has over 30 years of experience providing services to qualified retirement plans. He is Vice Chair of the Government Affairs Committee of ASPPA where he works on a sub-committee responsible for commenting on IRS proposed regulations.
The session will also provide a high-level overview of creative solutions for retirement plans. Plan sponsors and administrators will find this information helpful in understanding defined benefit plans and the various types of defined contribution plans. This two-part session will prove to be very informative and valuable for those working with any type of ERISA plans.
